I’ve searched out campsites in Cornwall near beaches as well as ones with sea views and plenty of family-friendly things to do close by. They have all the ingredients for a great family holiday and that’s what they’ve made the list.
There’s good news for tent, camper van and motorhome owners too. Many of these sites also have pitches for you as well as mobile homes or glamping tents for family and friends who don’t have their caravan.

Haven Perran Sands Holiday Park – a caravan site next to a beach
If you are looking for a caravan site next to the beach then Perran Sands Holiday Park in Perranporth is a great choice.
The campsite is part of a Haven holiday park and has direct access to Perran Sands and Penhale Beach on the North Cornwall Coast.
The campsite is set in sand dunes at the top of a cliff. Campers can use all the excellent holiday park facilities, which include restaurants, takeaways, bookable activities, an entertainment complex and swimming pools with flumes.

Little Winnick touring park – caravan park in South Cornwall
If you are looking for somewhere to go camping near St Austell then we can recommend Little Winnick. It’s a campsite just outside Pentewan and very close to popular Cornwall days out like the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan.
The campsite has a central shower block that is spacious and modern. There’s a large field for games, a playground and the Pentewan Valley Cycle Trail runs past the site.

Book into Sennen Cove and you’ll be stay at one of the most South Westerly touring caravan sites in Cornwall and England. It’s on the Land’s End peninsular which means you have access to incredible coast walks and some unique attractions.
You’ll can also enjoy sea views from your pitch and can reach the beach on foot in 45 minutes.
While Sennen Cove beach itself has a summer dog ban, nearby Gwynver Beach is dog-friendly all year round.
