  1. We’re travelling to Sri Lanka with our kids for 15 nights in Aug 2025 and have found this blog really helpful – thank you! We have only booked flights so far and are considering hiring a driver but wondered if you have any tips on the best way to do this? We have an idea of the places we want to visit but not sure where to start with a driver!

  2. Wondering how you stayed in the forest pavilion in Koslanda with kids? These room types say no kids allowed, which is unfortunate as your trip there sounds blissful.

    1. Hi Tarryn, we booked through booking dot com and the pavilions came up as an option for two adults and two children. But you are right that Koslanda’s website says children cannot stay in them. We only spotted this after we had booked but it was not a problem. I’ve explained a bit more in my review of Koslanda Living Heritage. The pavilions would not work for all families but they are wonderful.

  3. Your Sri Lanka itinerary sounds amazing! Exploring the ancient cities, experiencing the wildlife, and relaxing by the pool in different regions must have been incredible. It’s great that you organized the trip yourself, making it a unique adventure. Thanks for sharing your journey; it’s inspiring for fellow travelers.
