  4. I love the North West of Scotland for camping. Ullapool is one of my favourite sites but the midges are fierce. Hopefully this set of clothes will scare them off!

  7. Love walking in the Cairngorms in Scotland. Awesome views, but as it’s Scotland the midges can be terrible!

  8. We love camping when travelling on the North Coast 500 which runs along the North coast of Scotland. Such beautiful scenery. Great places to stop. Midges are wee devils up there so the trousers and tee shirt would be a great help.

  9. We live in the High Peak in Derbyshire and are fortunate to have Kinder Scout within walking distance from our doorstep. Walking these hills during this past year has been a saviour to us all.

  11. I’v never heard of insect shield clothing before. It sounds just the thing for my trips to Scotland where the midges are usually out in full force!

  12. My favourite camping spot is a lovely farm at Grange just outside of Keswick. It’s nestled in a little valley with absolutely stunning views. It’s so relaxing to wake up with a view of the hills all around, especially when the sun is shining. There’s lots of great places to walk, starting right outside the village.

  14. I love the Parkmill to Three Cliffs walk (Gower in Wales). The stunning views over Three Cliffs Bay alone make the visit worthwhile. The Gower Heritage Centre is worth a visit en route too.

  18. For me walking in Scotland especially the Southern Upland Way. From Portpatrick on the west coast the route runs 341 kilometres to Cove and Cockburnspath on the east coast.

  19. I love walking on the South Downs. The chalk grasslands host an array of wild flowers including orchids. The view of the sea in the distance adds to the feeling of space and wilderness.

    I’m living in London and I didn’t have the chance to visit other places due to the pandemic.
    I’m walking a lot every day, I’m preparing for the Camino de Santiago, planned for end of September, if it’s possible!

  23. The North East Coast of Scotland is amazing for camping and walks. Lots of long Sandy beaches and caves to explore.

  25. We love the area around Derwent and Ladybower reservoirs in the Peak District. We’ve been staying more local than that for the last year though and walking from home. It will be great to see some of these places again! The Peak District is great for camping too and we have camped just 20 miles from home!

  26. I love walking along the banks of the River Usk at Crickowell, where you can walk for many miles but I do tend to get bitten by insects, so this prize would be more than welcome.

  27. Lucky enough to have the Lomond Hills on our backdoor step which have been explored inside out. We find something new every time we go.

  28. We are blessed with beautiful countryside in Kent so lots of local walks across fields and woodland and countryside local to us that we love.

  31. My local park is my favourite place to walk, it’s quite large and has some lovely scenery.

    1. My favourite place is Malham, such a diversity of landscapes. Woodland waterfall at the Foss, thundering falls at the gorge then a climb to the top of Malham pavement

  32. I love walking in the Peak District, but during shielding I’ve also learnt to enjoy some of the countryside walks nearer home in Essex.

  33. For me its Skye with walks for all levels from strolls to serious climbing routes. The dramatic scenery makes it an awesome place to explore.

  34. The Yorkshire Dales has some lovely places to visit and great campsites. We camped and walked in the Bolton Abbey area before lockdown

  35. The Pembrokeshire coast is my favourite and Solva where you get fabulous views if you walk to the top of the hill.
