Our Easter weekend in the caravan

Sharing is caring!

A shattered and filthy toddler is surely a sign that you have had a good holiday. I’m pleased to report that Tin Box Tot was both after our long Easter weekend in the caravan. Mr Tin Box and I were also a bit on the tired side by Bank Holiday Monday.

We were staying at Gang Warily Scout Hut on the edge of the New Forest with our Caravan Club centre, which had laid on a full four-day programme of family activities for us to enjoy.
There were hot cross buns, an egg hunt, Easter bonnets and crafts during the days, followed by fun and games each evening. We even had dinner cooked for us two nights in a row.

When we weren’t being entertained we were out enjoying Gang Warily Recreation Ground right next door to where we were pitched, which has a fitness trail, fishing lake and super children’s playground.

There was also plenty of fun to be had right next to the caravans with a tree house that kept the kids entertained all weekend and a few spare minutes for TBT to practice her balance bike technique.

Get that tent out - the warmer days are here. I can recommend the New Forest for sites. There's plenty of choice x

Thanks for hosting! We did have a great weekend - so much to do. And while the weather wasn't perfect the whole weekend we were able to get out and about x

This looks like a great weekend away, it's great that the weather held off for you so that you could really enjoy the area around the camp site. Tin Box Tot looks like she's having a great time throughout, a great achievement! Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.
