The big Tin Box move
The majority of our stuff is being put into storage before we head down to Devon just before New Year. The plan is that we will be – mostly – set up in our new house so we can enjoy a glass of bubbly when Big Ben chimes in 2016.

This week we’re setting off on a staycation around England that will see us doing an 850 mile round trip towing a caravan. We’ll be stopping in four different counties and clocking up around 20 hours on the road over two weeks. I can’t lie, this epic road trip with toddlers is going to be…

I love my job and have worked really hard to be good at what I do. That’s why I think the new shared parental leave regulations coming in from 5 April 2015 are a step in the right direction for modern families, acknowledging that mums want to pursue careers and don’t have to be the…

Oh so exciting Claire!! I do think it could be stressful but at least you will be ready for the new year in a new town!! I wish you all the luck in your new adventure!! Thanks so much for sharing this at #KCACOLS! I hope you join me again tomorrow for the last #KCACOLS of 2015!!! 🙂 xx
Good luck with the move – our last one was over Christmas and so will our next be. The last time we got keys on the 23rd, had a few days off then moved on the 27th. By New Year's Eve we were unpacked enough to have a party (all despite being – secretly – 3 months pregnant). This time, we're a bit earlier and hoping to be mostly done by the 25th although our tree is a minimalist version so it'll travel. The bonus is lots of bank holidays and quieter at work rather than unpacking around the 9-5. And festive biscuit boxes as you unpack!
Hope it all goes well! We moved in September and I wrote about it here… It might help you http://www.newmummyblog.com/2015/10/06/moving-house-w…-baby-top-tips/

Just think, it may be stressful, but everyone says "New year, new me" – you can add "new house" to that! A proper fresh start, how lovely! #kcacols
I moved into my current home on December 5th! Whilst working full time and a single parent. On the 6th I started a new job, I had 2 until xmas as previous employer wouldn't let me leave. (don't do things by halves me) I managed to get organised somehow, throw a xmas party for my daughter and school friends and host christmas dinner for the family oh god I feel tired reading that now! Good luck with the move I'm sure everything will go great #KCACOLS
I haven't moved over Christmas but in a way I think it's a good time to do it – you get to have that 'fresh start' in time for the New Year! 🙂 #kcacols
