I often get comments on my blog from people who like the sound of caravanning and camping but have never given it a go. Others did it as kids but are unsure about how to introduce their own families to similar holidays.
We are massive fans of the freedom that comes with camping and caravan holidays. You’re not tied down to flight departures, luggage restrictions or set meal times. We can stay in thousands of locations around the UK and Europe, getting there under our own steam and enjoying the comforts of home when we arrive.
With this in mind I thought I’d share two new websites packed with advice to help novices discover the freedom of camping and caravanning holidays.
Freedom to go
I really like this website, which has been put together with the support of the National Caravan Council, the Camping and Caravan Club and the Caravan Club. It’s packed full of inspiration for outdoor getaways from camping to glamping and caravanning.
Experience freedom
This website is run by the Caravan Club and is focussed on caravan and motorhome holidays.
A great feature is the decision tree, which helps you find out what type of adventures would best suit you and your family based on budget, your current vehicle, holiday requirements, who you are travelling with and your interests.
The site also offers handy guides on buying and hiring caravans and motorhomes as well as storage and towing advice. Consider it your essential guide to getting your family on the road to caravan and motorhome adventures.
Feeling inspired? We might see you on the road soon!
I love hearing what people think about my blog so feel free to leave a comment below and browse around. You can also find me on Bloglovin’, or follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and Pinterest.
Disclosure: I’m sharing the websites on this post because I found them genuinely interesting. This is not a collaborative post.
