Since moving to Devon just over a year ago we’ve been lucky to be invited to experience Crealy Great Adventure Park on a number of occasions. We’ve grown extremely fond of the South West’s number one family attraction and think other families visiting the area will enjoy it too. Here’s why:

7 reasons why families love Crealy Great Adventure Park
A warm welcome
From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the lively entertainment team you get a good feeling about Crealy. The staff go above and beyond to be polite and helpful whether they are working on a ride or in the many food outlets.
Fun whatever the weather
This is a must for any attraction in the UK and Crealy has got wet days covered. There are three large indoor play areas with soft play, smaller rides and arcades. The Lost World of Atlantis is home to one of the girls’ favourite rides – and one of my least favourite – Neptune’s Tea Cups. I just can’t cope with the spinning anymore!
Exciting holiday events
Crealy puts on themed entertainment and activities during the school holidays. Last year at Easter there was an egg hunt, at Halloween you could visit a haunted house and carve pumpkins, and at Christmas Santa popped into the Crealy grotto. That’s not to mention the fabulous fireworks displays around Bonfire Night. If you’re visiting during the school holidays keep an eye out for special events and offers to help you make the most out of your visit. During the 2017 spring half term Crealy is giving away prizes worth £5,000 to guests visiting between 13 and 17 February.
Rides for all the family
There are 60 different rides and attractions at Crealy. And as a young family we’ve never been short of things to do, even with 20-month-old Tin Box Baby. In fact she first visited Crealy at the age of 16-months-old and could go on nearly all the same rides as her older sister. I can’t lie though; I’m looking forward to the day they are tall enough for all the rides!
New rides opening in 2017
As if 60 rides wasn’t enough, Crealy is always looking to add to its attractions. In fact two new ones are opening in 2017. A Junior Driving Experience will be revving up for the first time at Easter and The Jolly Roger – a giddy galloon – will arrive in May.
Animal fun on the farm
While some of the bigger rides are a bit beyond our girls at the moment, they certainly get their money’s worth out of the animal farm. You can feed some of the animals and there’s a programme of talks. We’ve even met some of Crealy’s scaled residents during our visits.
Somewhere to stay
It’s impossible to try out all the rides and attractions at Crealy in one day. So why not make a weekend of it and stay onsite? Crealy Meadows right next-door to the adventure park has camping and caravanning pitches, as well as luxury lodges and glamping tents.
